DRAMA WORKSHOPS

THE FUN DRAMA WORKSHOPS
are the starting point for anyone wishing to perform with ‘ENCORE’.

Fight Scene. A man and a woman depict in a struggle near a red car. On the left, the man is attacking the woman, while another woman reacts with alarm. On the right, the woman fights back.

Anyone interested in attending the workshops, without the desire to join ‘ENCORE’, would also be most welcome.

Once you have attended a course of workshops, you do not have to do them again as you will possess the skills you need to get started with us!

Through the Workshops, participants will have the opportunity to learn and enhance the fundamentals of Theatre skills, techniques and knowledge.

They will also explore ways of working together to create a strong ensemble through Theatre exercises, improvisation, scripted work and games.

We will meet Stanislavsky and Eric Berne, travel through time from Socrates to David Hare, create and develop Scandalous Characters ...

Elle in a red top, black leggings and a pink feather boa poses playfully as a Scandalous Character next to a lamppost outdoors.

as well as delve into the world of Shakespeare.

Mark in a black cape and costume kneels by a tombstone, holding a skull. The tombstone is engraved with YORICK A FELLOW OF INFINITE JEST.

Individuals will learn to use their voices confidently, as well as gaining an awareness of Theatre styles and the most imaginative use of the space!

We will share, create,
collaborate and enable.

We will also build an ensemble for ‘Encore’– ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate at a level they are comfortable with. Everyone can grow their confidence and sense of self-esteem and awareness within a safe, respectful and – most importantly – FUN environment.

The workshops will be run by Teacher and Theatre Practitioner Lindsey Allwork LALAM., ALAM.

Lindsey has been involved in Theatre, working with generous professionals and community groups for many years, as Actor, Teacher, Director, Stage Manager, Mask Maker and much more. She would love to share her passion for Theatre with you.

If you would like to join her, please contact her on enfieldcom.theatre@gmail.com to book your place by 13th August and pay the £100 fee for the 10 week course of workshops by BACS by 23rd August.
